22.com sold for $100,000

A few days ago in February, 2009, 22.com was sold for $100,000 at Sedo after attracting around 50 bids. The seller was Virtual Network SA of Switzerland according to DomainNameWire.com.

To compare with above domain sales, 11.com sold for $188,889 in August 2008. 25.com sold for nearly $125,000 in December 2008.

NN.com are very rare and there are only very few NN.com domains. Out of them 22.com , 11.com etc… are gems. NNN.com sold for xxx,xxx range and therefore in the above scenerio, the buyer got the domain for low price, I would say.
