Communic8.com sold for $10,000. Why?

When I saw the domain sale of communic8.com for $10,000, I could not understand why it was sold at that price. The domain, communic8.com was sold at Sedo domain market place. My initial impression was that the domain was sold to an end user.  I researched about “communic8” keyword and there is comm8.com website which is the site of Communic8 Ltd. The company is based in Folkestone, Kent. There are also communic8 Telecom and a few other communic8 related businesses.

There are only around 500 searches for the keyword “communic8″ a month in Google.

It was an interesting domain sale.
