Domain Industry Ragless

Industry insiders continue to debate the fate of recent paper journals and in-the-real manifestions of the online domaining world. “There is no industry rag”, complains one global domainer who is a familiar face at international conferences.

Many in the domain name community connote this dearth of news media in print with the online nature of the domain world. “Everything is RSS feed, interactive, instant news and forum based,” A  top-level domainer has said. But does that mean there is no pulp media in the future for domain name enthusiasts?

“Domaining is both an industry and a hobby”, one leading domain analyst commented recently. “There should be at least one periodical on newstands to keep speculators, domain professionals, resellers, and onlookers informed.”
