Domaining.com closing auctions helped me to win an auction

Web Hosting Blog

I clicked “Closing domain auctions” on the homepage of Domaining.com mistakenly a few days ago. I thought “Closing domain auction” was just for domaining.com “bargain domain auctions”. But I realized it was for other domain auctions such as Sedo etc… I am a bit orientated to “hosting” keyword (I do own hosting domains such as ProfessionalWebHosting.com, WebHostingSites.com, ReviewHosting.com, HostingBoard.com , FreeDomainHosting.com, HowtoBuildaWebsite.com etc…”).

Therefore, I put “hosting” keyword in the search bar of “Closing Auctions” and there was “ReliableWebHosting.com” domain auction in th list. I won the domain aution at the end and the domain transfer just finished today.

According to Google stats, there are nearly 1.7 million PHRASE search results in Google. There were over 8,000 EXACT searches per month for the keyword “reliable web hosting”. The CPC (cost per click) is $12.8 per click and it is very competitive keyword for the hosting related businesses.

That was a great grab. I wasn’t aware of a search function, I typically just scroll through the list.

Each day now when I wake up I check “my favorite” daily closing auctions, they are supposed to be all the auctions of the day I should have a buying interest (because I updated this section with my prefered domain specs). If I find ones I am willing to buy then I don’t bid but add them in my “watch list” to get an email reminder 1H before the closing time.

This way it’s not one domain I won these last weeks but many!!!

This created this tool because I was tired to lost great deals because I did not taken the time each day to browse all the domain auction marketplaces. And worst, the day I was aware of a good domain to close many times after I forgot to bid just before the closing time and lost the stupidely the investment opportunity.

Yes, it is a great tool. I really like it. I also lost out on many great domain deals at the auctions because I forgot and there was no reminder system.

Thanks for this useful tool and it is even better because you have already filtered out junk domain auctions and as a result not many to browse each day and it saves time.
