DomainState.com domain forum being sold to Trellian (Above.com)

A few hours ago, the auction for DomainState.com domain forum was over and it was sold to the Trellian (Above.com) and I do believe that it would be a great acquisition for the Trellian because they could promote their domain related services such as KeywordDiscovery, Above.com etc… more effectively to the domainers.
I participated in the auction but it seemed the Trellian company was quite determined to acquire the domain forum.
I hope that the forum would grow even further and domainers would still get benefits from the shared knowledge of the current owners.

I couldn’t think of a better player in the industry to acquire the forum really. Perhaps it can thrive again? I’m interested to see what the creative people at Trellian have in store. I’m kind of excited because Trellian is a very innovative company that helps domainers and developers make more money. If they are indeed going to acquire and maintain the forum I can see it transforming more into support forum and knowledgebase for all of the Trellian services.
