I was searching for a movie. When I tried to download it, its showing as a torrent. I don't understand. With in a few seconds the file has been downloaded too. What exactly is this?

You need a program like utorrent to use with the torrent and then you can download the movie.

Yes, you have to use the torrent file to dl the torrent.
