How on earth this domain was sold for $5,000 ?

When I saw this domain 140nametrafficportfolio.com sold for 5,000 US dollars, I was really surprised. It was sold at Sedo and I wonder it was portfolio domain sale or just random end user domain sale.
If it is a portfolio domain sale, $5000 may be fair for the buyer but if it is just this radiculous domain sold for the price, the buyer might have to go and see a psychiatrist, unless the domain has been generating good revenue over past few months. But when I type the domain name in the web address bar, there was no website.

See the comments here, I think it should help you.

I’m relatively new in the domain industry and makes me wonder what makes this domain name fetch such a high price. Is it because “140″ has a global monthly search volume of 3.3M in Google’s Keyword tool?
That domain name did not sell. It is (at least was) available when that was published. It was actually meant to display 140 domains that sold as a package for $5,000.
Thanks.
I see. Sedo mistakenly published it as a domain name.
