A .de name is worth far more to a German company than a dot com, so to say the dot com is not worth that is irrelavent imo. Dot com is NOT the #1 extension in many countries and many companies have no desire to own the dot com instead choosing their own cctlds in preference,so these kind of prices are no suprise for countries like Germany who value their own cctld so highly. Very nice sale.
