Grapple.com Fruit Name Sells for $34K

Domainers grappling with high prices nevertheless buy big in season, and the new owner of Grapple .com is no different. Mark Taylor, the proud new owner of Grapple.com won at Sedo this week handing over $34,000 for the name. The site may be a future portal for a novelty fruit hybrid which is an apple that tastes like a grape.

Grapple’s Facebook page is said to be tres populaire aussi. The novelty fruit will be putatively vended online as a growing venture from its current site sales portal Grapplefruits.com . The synonymous cognate for “grappling” has other sites, which will prove interesting to see which “grapple” meaning takes the lead and emerge the top search engine result. Russian grapplers will be pleased to learn their wrestling mission has not gone in vain.

Apple Tablet on the Slate

Today’s announcement by Cupertino techmaker Steve Jobs will start a run on domain names with “slate” or “tablet” in the keywords.
