I find the following available generic .com domains and I have checked their availability just before the time of blogging this post. These available generic .com domains may be sold up to x,xxx to the right end user. Some of them are also brandable domains and when I check with Valuate, they are valued at upto $300 per domain.

I register available domains more or less regularly and I have left out so many good available domains over past few months. I could not register all because my domain profile is expanding and I have to be careful about the domaining.

Now I decided to start a “available domain names” beta trial.

They were valuated xxx to x,xxx range at valuate.com. They could be flipped to xxx or even x,xxx range if you have time and energy to do it.

For many of them, .net, .info, .com extensions were taken.

Is FreshDrop a joke?

I was at the FreshDrop website but when I looked at the domain sales at Ebay, it was just funny to see domains like google.com for sale at $1,500, Game.com for sale at $10, car.com for sale at $1 etc…

When I clicked to buy “Toy.com” for $10, hoping to see an IDN , I found out that it was only “TarotCardGame.com ” and not an IDN related to “toy.com”.

What is happening with FreshDrop ? Are they making jokes or what? I think FreshDrop needs to address this.

who.is shows unavailable domains at times

I have been using who.is website to check whois information of the domain owners but I noticed they showed some of the unavailable domains as “available”.

E.g I was checking a domain yesterday and who.is showed that healthcare.info was available. I didn’t think so because it is a good .info domain but I clicked the “healthcare.info” , I was taken to Name.com and the domain was not available. It was not first time this happened. It happened to me quite a few times.

Do you think it is a strategy which Who.is is using to get more visits to Name.com?
