Which domains would you choose to hand register?

I registered 3 domains yesterday (all hand-regged) at Moniker. I registered them to see how domainers would choose to hand-register domains. You may comment on whether you would register any of them or all or none of them if you can get them at reg fees. Those 3 domains were dropped a few days ago and I chose them for the commenting or voting purposes.

The three domains I hand registered are:

1) JustBusinesses.com (domain history at least since 2001)

2) HalfPriceItems.com (domain history since 2001 or earlier)

3) DomainAffairs.com (domain history since at least 2005)

(You may use DomainAffairs.com as a “domain news” website. If interested, let me know before I develop it.)

I wonder you can comment on whether you would hand-register any of them or all or none of them if they are available at reg fees.

I appreciate your comments.

Thick.com sold for 10,000 US dollars. Bargain for buyer?

It was noted that thick.com was sold for 10,000 US dollars and I think it was a bargain for the buyer.

It is a brandable domain and could be used for many things. There are around 50,000 EXACT searches per month for the keyword “thick” and I think the domain would recieve some type in on daily basis.

The buyer would be happy with the price he or she paid. Real bargain!

Domains which end with “forum” or “forums” are good particularly for development and there have been many domain sales around $10,000.

Some of them are:

Forums.com  sold for nearly $400,000

Forums.de  sold for over $35,000

WebHostingForum.com   sold over $21,000

CasinoForum.com  sold over $18,000

Forums.org   sold nearly $15,000

Forum.gr   sold nearly $12,000

WeddingForum.co.uk   sold over $10,000

NewsForum.com   sold $10,000

Forums.cn   sold for $10,000

AustraliaForum.com   sold for $10,000

PregnancyForum.com   sold for $8,000

DomainForums.com   sold at $6,500

I hope that they were bought by end users so that they have been developed.
