Afribeats.com has an obvious musical (and geographic) connection. Adoptfamilies seems like a portal. Adoptababe.com sounds like the kid’s market. Photorun.com could be a huge gallery portal. Photoshadow.com could be an online photo filter app. Photolexic.com would be very good for that too.

PhP2press.com could be a conversion tool destination and online forum site for database based sites moving from php to WordPress based blogs. The adult name market might be able to use sextistics.com, an information portal name if there ever was one. Sextelecast and a large host of sex- starting names are feature on auction at Pool tomorrow. Sexprix.com and sexinthewild.com among them. Many Skype- names available tomorrow, a possible copyright hazard, including skype4ipod.com, as well as XBoxGold.com.

Rankmymobile.com could tap a review market for mobile phones and portable devices. Rapheadradio.com could be a beat site for new tubes for emerging rap artists or a grooving social portal for music fans. Rapidbooster sounds like a Star Trek widget, and physio-call.com could be a Q & A site for medical questions and prescription data.

City-zine.com makes a possible Geo portal template site. Decktip.com is a great name for a home hobby upgrade site. XGTP.com is a four character shorty domain available tomorrow. Xd49 and Xd38 also come to the auction block. 53ct.com and 528x  also vend tomorrow at Pool.

Skimming Friday’s Pool.com hotlist one sees old friends and new players. Mydomainbank.com is an elusive catch still auctioning. And flashwebdesign.net shows that the dot-net world is still cranking. Craftfanatic.com and holidaysBritain.com are still tracking bidders.  Deleting domains furnish such surprises as KentStateUniversity.com. Nastyroads.com sounds like a AAA don’t-go-there site. Getpaidforyouropinions.com is long but to the point. Four character DTRV.com also deletes tomorrow.

Skimming the Pool for March 9, 2010

The dropping names list included deboot.com and other long or non numeric names. Deleting domains at Pool.com include a five number 23520.com. WatchResources.com and CanCost.com look intriguing. RentAuto.info also drops. Battlechat.com deletes, a strong gaming name and an outstanding name for a role playing game forum.

Is FreshDrop a joke?

I was at the FreshDrop website but when I looked at the domain sales at Ebay, it was just funny to see domains like google.com for sale at $1,500, Game.com for sale at $10, car.com for sale at $1 etc…

When I clicked to buy “Toy.com” for $10, hoping to see an IDN , I found out that it was only “TarotCardGame.com ” and not an IDN related to “toy.com”.

What is happening with FreshDrop ? Are they making jokes or what? I think FreshDrop needs to address this.
