Island nation to launch dot-WTF?

A seriously intriguing idea is brewing a storm of internet interest just over the ocean between Hawaii and New Zealand. Internet news sources report that the catchy ccTLD .WTF might replace the pending .wf for the islands nation of Wallis and Futana in French Polynesia. The island is actually under French Government yet has local customs and tribal royalty.

The launch of a .WTF ccTLD could bring needed revenue to the island nation. A French subcurrency (CPC) and agricultural economy prevail. Assessment of the .WTF market is yet to be determined.  But a piece of legislature to change the name of the place is all that stands between 2 strips of island with little fresh drinking water and a boom of cultural, social, and civil benefits.

.Fr domain sale; lundi.fr sold for nearly $70,000

It is very much interesting to see a French domain sale in decent price range. Lundi.fr was sold for 50,000 Euros (nearly $70,000) and it is a very good domain sale. The domain was sold at Sedo domain marketplace.

There are 60 million google search results for “Lundi” and it means “Monday” in English.

Any way, it was a good .Fr (French) domain sale.

credit.fr sold for 587,500 EURO or over $850,000

Recently credit.fr is sold for 587,500 EUROS and it is equivalent to over $850,000 which is nearly a million dollars.

But surprisingly, only around 1,900 searches per month for the keyword “credit” in France.

I think it is a very good domain sale and it is the highest .fr French domain sale so far as far as I gather
