Insurance .info domain sale; insurancequote.info domain sold in low xx,xxx

After I have read an interesting news about the acquisition of Insurance.com website for around $35 million US dollars by a business firm, I don’t find it surprising to see the domain sale of InsuranceQuote.info for low xx,xxx range. The domain  was sold through Sedo domain market place and the sale was mentioned at Dnjournal.com domain sale column this week.

It was interesting news because I recently acquired InsuranceComparison.com (development in the process). Both “insurance quote” and “insurance comparison” got high CPC (cost per click) over $15 per click. “Insurance comparsion” was searched around half of the search volume of “insurance quote” keyword. But after analysing the keywords, I think “insurance comparison” is better than “insurance quote (because of being singular and not plural keyword)” and this insurance .info domain sale even makes me harder to part with my domain.

Sec.de Germany domain sold in six figure range

It was interesting to see a six figure domain sale of Sec.de for 136,850 EURO (around $177,126.75 US dollars). The domain was sold at the Sedo domain marketplace. Even though it was a good LLL.de, I thought it was a bit too much for such a .de domain because I believed even Sec.com would not be  worth that much money.

.co domain names. 5 of my generic one word preorders were successful.

I was not into .co domain names until last 5 days or so ago. I thought I would not want to risk $300 per domain. But I became interested in preordering .co domains 5 days or so ago. Therefore I started looking into preordering the .co domain names but surprisingly most of the popular generic .co domains had been already preordered.

I was only able to put 15 to 20 .co domain preorders and today I confirmed that I got the following .co domains.

Fridges.co

Refrigerators.co

Boiler.co

Freezers.co

Heaters.co

I am confident that I would have some interest for my above .co domains. I have plans to develop these domains but if I receive the right offers before I have time to develop them, may consider selling them individually or as a group. I am more positive after learning that there was a six figure sale for a .co domain recently.

There were 2 offers for my domain, SkirtingBoard.com more or less one after another and I pushed the domain into Sedo domain marketplace auction and it will be ending in 5 days or so.It is currently for sale at very low reserve price (one bidder now and reserve price met).

There are many business websites including SkirtingBoards.com , SkirtingBoardsDirect.com etc…

There are 60,500 PHRASE searches per month for “skirting board” with CPC (cost per click) is $0.77 per click.

High priced .in Indian domain sale; budgetair.in sold in xx,xxx range

Recent domain news suggested that the domain, budgetair.in was sold for a xx,xxx range exactly at $20,000 and it was a surprising domain sale. I was not aware of any five figure .in (Indian) domain sales previously and this domain sale was certainly a very good deal for the seller. I think it might be an end user domain sale. I would very much doubt that any experienced domainer would pay that price range even for BudgetAir.com .

The domain budgetair.in was sold at Sedo domain marketplace and it certainly was a big payout deal for the seller.

Stackit.com domain sold for $15,000

Recently, the domain name, stackit.com was sold for low xx,xxx range and it was a good domain sale for the seller. The domain was sold at the Sedo domain marketplace at a price of $15,000. When I searched for the keyword ”stackit” in Google, there were interesting results. There was Stackit.net business website up and running and there were many other “Stackit” keyword related sites/products (e.g. Stackit for ipod etc…).

But there were only around 1,000 EXACT searches per month for the keyword in Google with CPC (cost per click) around $1.71 per click.

Conformance.com sold for xx,xxx

The dictionary domain, Conformance.com was sold for low xx,xxx recently and it might have been sold to an end user. There is Conformance Ltd with a business website Conformance.co.uk .

When I checked the Google keyword tool, there were 6,600 EXACT searches per month for the keyword “conformance“ and it was a fair price for both the buyer and the seller, in my opinion. The CPC (cost per click) was $1.41 per click. The domain was sold for exactly at $10,560 and the domain sale was reported by Sedo domain marketplace.

Chinavision.com sold for high xx,xxx

It is interesting to see the ChinaVision.com domain sale in the range of high xx,xxx. The domain, ChinaVision.com was not that great in my opinion and I think that the domain was sold to an end user. The ChinaVision.com domain sale was second high priced “China” keyword domain sale in recent months. ChinaTours.com sold in xxx,xxx range previously. It was a very good domain sale and the domain was sold EXACTLY at $75,000 at the Sedo domain marketplace.

I thought there wouldn’t be more than x,xxx EXACT searches per month for the keyword “China Vision“. When I checked the Google tool, there were around 8,100 EXACT searches per month for the keyword. CPC (cost per click) is only $0.28 per click.

What do you think of iOdds.com ?

Yesterday, the domain, iOdds.com was acquired and I wonder what you would think of this domain regarding end user value. As you know, betting industry is a billion dollar business and recently Slots.com sold nearly $6 million US dollars.

I plan it to develop into a site similar to OddsChecker.com and I appreciate any suggestions regarding site development, scripts etc…

If anyone is interested to acquire this domain, iOdds.com , I may consider  a good decent offer. Otherwise I would develop this domain.

I actively acquired domains every week or so and my full time job funded me to buy more and more domains. I usually only go for .com, or famous ccTLDs like .co.uk (could not go for .us , .de etc… because I don’t meet residence requirements by .us or .de registries).
